Fish Pond

Unlock the Fish Pond and measure your Roe income

The pond holds fish that generate Roe for later sale. Use your own sale totals to compare earnings; this worksheet does not invent a fixed offline rate.

How to unlock and reach it

  1. Complete the level-15 “Path to Fish Pond” quest, listed as the first quest for The Guy 2. The community NPC record associates this with unlocking Fish Pond access.
  2. Use the Scientist's teleport to visit the pond. The pond record lists the Forgotten Dome ↔ Fish Pond route as free and other routes as 250 Cash; check the destination and price in your client before paying.
  3. At the pond, press E to add or remove a fish. Collect All gathers produced Roe. Sell Roe to The Guy; Roe in the pond is not yet spendable Cash.

The Guy, Bobert and Jonathan are pond NPCs. This is a holding and Roe area, rather than another biome where a guide can promise a particular fish catch. Your stored fish can be removed; entering the pond is not described as permanently consuming them.

Measure a sample before comparing

Collect and sell a known batch, record the elapsed minutes, and enter the Cash actually received. Include feed or travel costs paid during that sample. Use the same fish and conditions for a second sample to see whether the result repeats. A short, boosted period is a poor basis for an all-day prediction.

The Roe record describes batches related to fish weight, but public pages disagree about offline modifiers and contain inconsistent example arithmetic. This worksheet therefore uses observed sales, with no baked-in offline bonus, fish value, mutation multiplier or spawn timer.

How to use the comparison

A 30-minute sample with 500 Cash sold and 50 spent nets 450, or 900 per hour. At that same observed rate, generating an amount equal to a 1,000-Cash fish offer takes about 1.11 hours. This is an earnings comparison, not a break-even guarantee: the fish remains removable, market offers may differ and the rate can change.

If costs exceed sales, the worksheet keeps the loss visible and reports no positive time to match the offer. Buying a better gun or tube with Cash may matter more than a projected future yield. Star Shards are a separate currency: the race roll budget cannot tell you how much pond income you earn.
